About this work
Double saddlebag of knotted wool, Jaffi Kurdistan, formerly Mosul. The fronts are divided by a grid into large lozenges, on each of which a cross-flower with hooks stands. Borders with a block zigzag line. Embroidered and slit beards in flat weave, intended as a closure with the long loops of braided goat hair attached opposite on the back. The back is of flat weave with broad stripes.
