About this work
Collar of natural-coloured bobbin lace: Rosaline. U-shaped model with pointed ends and five scallops on the outside, around the curve of the U. The symmetrical pattern consists of curling vines made of bobbin-worked strips, to which a variation of small and slightly larger flowers. The edges are formed by C-scrolls alternating with flowers. The motifs are made in linen stitch with sparing cut-outs. Simple grounds are applied in the larger flowers. The motifs are connected by a plaited ground with one or no picot per plait.
