About this work

This object is composed of the following four parts: the baluster, the knob, the drip pan, and the candleholder. The profiled baluster is threaded at the top and bottom. The lower iron thread has been renewed. The arm is inserted into the smooth upper part of the baluster. It is bent twice and ends on one side in a spiral with a stylized bird's head and on the other in a thickening. Here, the profiled candleholder is screwed onto the drip pan profiled at the bottom. The drip pan differs slightly from BK-1976-15-A and, like the holder, may not originally belong to it.
