About this work

This object is composed of the following four parts: the baluster, the knob, the drip pan, and the candleholder. The profiled baluster is threaded at the top and bottom; these threads are original. The arm is inserted into the smooth upper part of the baluster. It is bent twice and ends on one side in a spiral with a stylized bird's head and on the other in a thickening. Here, the profiled candleholder is screwed onto the drip pan profiled at the bottom. The drip pan differs slightly from BK-1976-15-B and, like the holder, may not originally belong to it.
