Wall arm of brass

The object is composed of three parts: the arm, the drip pan on a short stem, the candle pin. The first two are cast, the third is made from sheet. The vertical attachment of the arm has the shape of an animal, the grinning head of which is directed downwards. Two square eyes, which serve for the attachment of the arm, are located at the place of the legs of the animal. The tail has grown into an arm bent forwards and upwards with three humps on top and at the bottom meshwork, in which among others fish bladders and a three-lobed termination occur. On the upper part, where the arm becomes hexagonal, there is a more or less round attachment for the attachment of a coat of arms or something similar. It ends in a hexagonal capital, on which the short round profiled stem with the round profiled two or three times indented and at the top decorated with rings drip pan is attached. The arm is broken in the part bending upwards. The drip pan, which is not original, is torn and poorly repaired.
