About this work
Round cauldron with a broad base and tapering upwards. The cauldron has a handle and a lid with a knop. The wall of the cauldron is six-lobed due to indentations. The lid is decorated with leaf motifs and the knop is in the form of a flower bud. The cauldron is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam and master's mark = attributed to Frederik van Strant I.
