About this work
Round cauldron with a broad base and tapering upwards. The handle is bent in, the lid is arched and has a profiled knop. The wall of the cauldron is six-lobed due to indentations. The spout is S-shaped. The cauldron is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam, master's mark = attributed to Abraham Effemans, an axe, and a crowned O.
