About this work
Round kettle flaring outwards at the bottom, with lid and handle. The handle is bent in two places. The lid is decorated and has a rosette-shaped knob. The side wall of the kettle is six-lobed by vertical lines. The kettle is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam, maker's attribution = attributed to Abraham Effemans, and an axe.
