About this work
The oval jug rests on a vaulted foot with a straight-sided base. The body of the jug is convex and vaulted. The vaulted, tapering neck merges on one side into a high, wide pouring spout. The neck and body are connected by a high, curved, grooved handle. Fillet borders run around the base, along the upper rim of the foot, and along the upper rim of the body.
