About this work
The salt cellars each consist of a bowl-shaped oval foot, which rises in the middle to a pointed oval dish. Both parts rise higher on the sides. Along the outer edge on the top of the foot is a fillet border. The dish of colorless glass has a wavy upper rim and is cut with a border of diamond heads above a sunburst. The dish is attached to the foot by means of a silver screw with a golden head, visible on the inside of the dish. The dishes of A, B, and D are damaged.
