About this work

Right mitt of twill cotton and linen. Cut diagonally from the fabric. With lined tip falling over the back of the hand and inserted thumb without top. Decorated with red embroidery on the back. S-shaped embroidery of branches with an applied cord. Decorated with berries, tulips, and rosettes. The whole is edged with a flannel stitch along the seams.
