Hand-held spectacles with round lenses, frame of gilded copper with white and dark blue enamel. Handle in the shape of a spoon stem, with eyelets for a chain. At the top, narrow round rings around the lenses, which have a cut round facet for close-up viewing. Round nose bridge and relief chiseled, with hinges. A spring is integrated into the stem and is activated with a small knob at the bottom, allowing the two lenses to be folded together. Decoration: in the slender part of the stem runs a white-bordered elongated drop in gold. In the widened end, two symmetrical golden leaves on a dark blue ground run around the white.
