Ribbon of orange satin, upon which in stipple engraving an oval portrait of hereditary prince Willem Frederik (later King Willem I) in uniform of the 'Garde de corps'. Depiction: the younger hereditary prince Willem Frederik (1772-1843). Bust to the right, with slightly wavy medium-length hair, combed forward and away from the face. Uniform coat with standing collar, black neckcloth, lighter lapels with brandebourgs, jabots emerging from the closed jacket and a shoulder covering that ends in three cords (uniform of the Garde de corps). The oval is printed lengthwise on the ribbon.
