About this work

Passementerie of white wool, decorated with colored embroidery. The passementerie consists of a woven wool band, unpicked on one of the long sides to form a fringe. The wool is decorated along the length with embroidered flowers in green and various shades of pink; an orange embroidered stripe runs along the edges. Possibly a passementerie for clothing or upholstery.
