About this work

Men's waistcoat of black wool in twill weave. Short waistcoat with front panels cut in an arch. Wide lapel to the left, with double row of four black horn buttons. Fairly deep V-neck with fairly large shawl collar, lapels stick out outside the collar. Two patch pockets. Back of black satin, with fixed strap to buckle, on which: 'PRIMA' and at the bottom: 'M.J. & L.'. Inside in the strap a band with handwriting: 'Jhr. Hugo Gevers'. Lining of white satin.
