About this work
Waistcoat of rough tweed in brown-grey, woven in twill. Waistcoat with deep front panels, slightly obliquely cut. High V-neck with collar with lapels. Three diagonal patch pockets. Six fabric buttons in checkerboard pattern. Back of black satin with straps with buckle. Inside on the strap a white label with handwriting: 'Jhr. Hugo Gevers'. Lining of beige satin on which three linen buttons are sewn in the neck, inner pocket to be closed with a horn button.
