About this work
Furniture decoration of natural-colored machine-made lace: etching lace. The lace imitates needle lace: reticella and punto in aria. Hanging from a rectangular strip are three scallop shells, with in the center a rosette in a standing oval medallion and at the point a black button of gimp or imitation of gimp.
