Strip of machine-made lace with fuchsia flower in C-shaped branch

Strip of natural-colored machine lace: machine Valenciennes lace. The repeating pattern consists of a C-shaped branch, from which hangs a fuchsia-like flower. Directly against the branch, a smaller, mirrored C-scroll emerges from the underside. The shells along the underside consist of three small shells, formed by C-scrolls hanging at the bottom of the pattern. The motifs are connected by a diamond-shaped lattice ground. Cutouts are made in the motifs, and openwork edges around the motifs. Between the C-scrolls at the bottom of the pattern, a fine machine snowflake ground is applied as decorative ground.
