About this work
Gentlemen's parasol with a dark blue plain silk cover. Unlined, with eight black-painted iron ribs with horn tips. On one of the ribs: BRILLANT and K & R. On the wooden shaft, a bamboo handle with a leather brown carrying strap, a gold band, and a round horn knob. On top, a long bamboo knob with a point of rhinoceros horn (?).
