Mourning(?) parasol of silk with machine-made brocade in a geometric and floral pattern. Cover of black silk with a border of machine-made brocade. The pattern consists of a meandering motif from which a symmetrical plant (?) grows with four hanging branches, with another upright branch in the center on each side, tamboured. At the end, a spherical flower (?). Round wooden shaft, long square handle with knob. The knob is decorated on top with an eight-legged star. The sides are cut out in a lattice motif. Halfway down the handle, another knob with the same decoration. Between them, palm-like incisions. At the bottom of the handle, a loop of cord.
