Square cashmere shawl with a small central star around which a multicoloured all-over pattern

Palm shawl, woven in a square model, with multicoloured full pattern with small central star and outside thereof white motif outlines. The central pattern is double-sided symmetric with respect to both axes and diagonals. From the eight-pointed central star radiate eight feather motifs, the Karmir botas, which are elongated and show a strongly twisted closed volute. Between these stand eight white-bordered palmettes, of which the four corner ones are larger, bell-shaped and more composite. These end in smaller palmettes, which abut against the sides, where they cut through a broad wavy, continuously running border. The vertical borders have symmetric elongated and rosette-shaped quatrefoils, or cartouches. The horizontal ones consist of gates which symmetrically repeat with respect to the vertical central axis. Narrow, black intermediate lines between both borders and the centre. The technique consists of a woolen warp (presumably).
