About this work

Fan with a mount of imitation tortoiseshell on which taupe ostrich feathers are arranged in an ascending row. Mount: eight unadorned ribs that close against each other and are held together by a metal locking pin. Leaf: on each rib an ostrich feather is pasted, which is supported on the back by a thin wooden stick. The feather on the far right is the longest and the rest slopes diagonally to the left.
