About this work
Porcelain figurine on an oval base in the form of a woman lying on a rock. The woman is depicted entirely nude (except for sandals) and rests against a rocky elevation. With her right hand she holds a cloth over her right thigh, and with her left arm she rests on the rock. Marked on the underside with the scepter, year letter B. (1927, design from 1917) with an hourglass or double triangle. Signed on the back of the rock with 'SCHEURICH'. Art Nouveau.
