About this work

Plate of multicolour hard-fired earthenware with a scalloped rim. The rim is decorated in relief with six fields of wavy lattice work. The plate is covered with blue-grey lead glaze with spots in green, yellow and manganese. The back is spotted with manganese. The plate is part of a set of five plates (BK-1987-41-A to BK-1987-41-E).
