Folding fan with a paper leaf on an unadorned wooden frame. In the center, an Amor colored with watercolor, with amorous text on the left and right. On the leaf, scattered lovers' knots. Decoration: Amor sitting on a grassy mound with on the left a branch with two doves(?). On the right the text: 'L'amour fait sentinelle', on the left: 'Garre à vous'. Scattered over the leaf are several rows of metal lovers' knots. The leaf is edged at the top with a narrow strip of green paper. At the bottom, on the closing sticks, mother-of-pearl discs. The back of the leaf is unadorned.
