Folding fan with a paper leaf showing a copper engraving with a colored image where two gentlemen and three ladies in costumes are centrally depicted; the ladies on the right, sitting or standing by a table with a green cloth, the gentlemen standing on the left side. The scene appears to be on a terrace and is against a blue-green background in gouache. On both sides four red-pink flowers and floral motifs in gold paint. The colored copper engraving on the back of the leaf shows a man in a costume inspired by the Middle Ages; in his right hand he holds the reins of a white horse standing behind him; opposite him a woman who with one hand fills a jug with water and with the other points to the man; at the edge of the image: F.C. No. 608. The mount is of tortoiseshell or horn, openwork and has 18 non-connected ribs. The disc at the pin and the pin are of copper.
