About this work

The upper and lower doors of this piece of furniture can be turned, whereupon an interior fitted with shelves to hold silver cutlery, porcelain and glassware appears. The cabinet could thus serve as a buffet sideboard during a meal. The curved corner cupboard, decorated with detailed marquetry, combines elements of the Rococo with Neoclassical shapes and motifs.
