About this work

Linen batiste fichu, triangular and scalloped, embroidered with a border of floral swags in point de Dresde. Cut on the bias. Decoration: the scallops are alternately filled with leaf swags and composite floral ornaments. Above, large flowers alternating with leaf swags and floral ornaments. Point de Dresde or white work including festooned holes, combined with various types of needle lace in diverse combinations. In the point, a stacked symmetrical ornament crowned with a vase of leaves.
