About this work

Strip of brocaded Gros de Tours. Design: vertical stripes in two shades of green and two shades of red, with ecru flowers (cannelé simpleté) with pink/orange hearts alternating with repeating bouquets in various colors (brocade) on an ecru ground (liseré effect). Originally a strip from Japan. Stamped number 6995 on the back. Pinned paper note with the letter A.
