About this work

Hat of long-haired black felt; the brim lined with irregularly wrinkled black velvet. Large crown with flat, asymmetrical brim. Crown lined with cream-colored taffeta: the strip along the brim is gathered and wrinkled with a tunnel and a ribbon bow around the center. Fitted with black hat elastic.
