Unfinished embroidery fragment with a repeating motif of multicolored silk on natural-colored woolen cambric

Unfinished embroidery fragment, possibly a sample, with a repeating motif of multicolored silk on natural-colored woolen worsted. The embroidery on the elongated fragment has been cut along the long sides and partially trimmed. A point has been cut from the lower short end, while at the top, which remains unfinished, a piece of partially unworked woolen fabric of approx. 4 cm remains. Here, part of the ink (?) underdrawing is visible. Ornament: between two checkered borders is a repeating motif of pointed medallions alternately filled with symmetrical leaf and flower motifs or a peacock with raised feathers (?), interspersed with flower motifs on either side of the points. The embroidery is executed in the colors gold-yellow, silver-white, ice-blue, wine-red, and navy blue.
