About this work
Hat with a low crown of black velvet and a wide brim of braided straw with straw ends protruding, lined with black crêpe de Chine. The crown is entirely covered with black velvet and trimmed with a narrow velvet band that ends in a large bow at the back. The brim is braided from coarse straw.
