About this work

Oboe made of rosewood with twelve silver keys and three open rings. The third hole is double. The finger rest is screwed onto the middle section. Marked on the upper section and on the bell: [coat of arms with a crown above] / DOLNET LEFEVRE / & PIGIS / MANTES [in an oval] / DLP / BREVETE S.G.D.G. Marked on the middle section: [coat of arms with a crown above] / DOLNET LEFEVRE / & PIGIS / MANTES [in an oval] / DLP. In the original case, lined with textile on the outside and purple velvet on the inside.
