Pitcher

The round pot rests on a hollow stand ring, and has a body consisting of a pressed bulb and an elongated hollow section, separated by convex profiles, and closed at the top by a double convex rim. The bulbous arched lid has a double profiled rim and is crowned by a vase-shaped knob, the body of which is made of wood. The lower part of the body is decorated with drapery, tassels, and chased shells, repeated on the lid; the elongated hollow upper section with a leaf border. The straight projecting S-shaped wooden handle is set in straight silver cuffs. The lower part of the narrowed, S-shaped spout has the shape of a flower calyx with facets.
