Pitcher

The round pot rests on a hollow stand ring decorated with pearl borders, and has a bulbous body, closed at the top by a straight rim. Narrow bands divide the decoration on the body into friezes; below, large lobes are combined with leaf motifs, above a wavy band leaf motifs are applied. The wavy band is repeated on the straight rim. On the bulbous arched lid, the lobes are repeated, the projecting rim is decorated with pearls. The whole is crowned by a rosette with a pinecone above it. The straight projecting S-shaped handle consists of three different parts, separated from each other by silver cuffs and ivory rings. The S-shaped spout ends in a dragon's head formed by leaf motifs. Both elements are decorated with pearls in descending size. They are connected to each other by a chain link.
