About this work

Four-part short traverso ('third flute' with lowest tone f') in boxwood with ivory rings and 4 brass keys. Although the wood is somewhat dull and some damage is visible on the block of the third key, the condition of the still playable instrument can be called good. Tuning ca. a-440 Hz. Stamps: ELLARD / 47 SACKVILLE ST / DUBLIN / [unicorn] (headjoint); ELLARD / DUBLIN / [unicorn] (upper and lower joints, foot).
