About this work

Cast-iron fireplace plate, with three semicircles on the upper side, of which the middle one is larger. In the center a square shield, on which a crowned laurel wreath, in which a gate with two running dogs are found. Below it the year 1678. The outer edge is provided with a profiled frame with several knob-shaped protrusions at the top. The rest of the fireplace plate is undecorated.
