About this work

Pear-shaped milk jug of painted porcelain. The jug has a spout, an S-shaped handle, and stands on three feet. The rim is scalloped. The milk jug is decorated with floral bouquets and, along the rim, a broad band with stripes in gold on a rose ground, always edged with a rocaille ornament in gold. The milk jug is marked.
