About this work
Basin painted with a scattered pattern of blue cornflowers and with gilded edges along the rims. Marked: M.O.L. and Amstel in blue underglaze. The oval bowl has rocaille ornaments along the rim, which widen into ear shapes along the longitudinal axes and are edged with gold.
