About this work

Spherical teapot, without lid, of earthenware, Black Basalt. The pot has a C-shaped handle, a straight spout, and a raised rim. The rim is higher on the spout side than on the handle side. The handle ends at the rim in a leaf shape. The lid is missing. The body of the pot is divided into two halves by horizontal bands. The two halves and the spout are decorated with cannelures. The pot is marked.
