About this work
Leather slipper (trip) with a canvas vamp. Vamp embroidered with geometric figures, 'point de hongrie' in wool. The sole tapers pointedly forward and gradually transitions into a heel at the back, which slopes forward. At the toe, a silver toe-cap, 'bekken'.
