About this work

Natural-coloured linen fabric with decoration of a brown clavus. The clavus and the tabula consist of a repeating circular motif with an irregular motif with six circles at the end. At the clavus a natural-coloured walking figure with raised hand is woven in. The edges of the clavus consist of a continuous line with protruding rods with a blunt end. In the linen fabric four thickened wefts of approximately 14 cm in length are woven at regular intervals.
