Textile fragment with tabula and clavus

Linen fragment of a tunic with woven tabula and clavus in black. The clavus has a decoration of animals, including a walking and leaping lion, a floating figure, and a pair of birds facing away from each other. The clavus ends in a drop shape. In the tabula a circle containing a dancing figure with crossed legs and a veil over its head (nereid?), as well as several animals, including a walking lion and a snake. At the top a thicker weft and a dark brown woolen weft, with part of a selvage present, which may indicate a neckline. On the left side a textile fragment is sewn on, mostly attached underneath the large fragment. Remains of a similar fragment are located on the right side.
