About this work

Natural-coloured linen fabric fragment with two dark purple decorative bands with central diamonds next to triangles and circles with a quatrefoil. The outer edges have a pearl motif. Along one long side there is a seam with an attached strip. Next to it run two parallel dark blue wefts.
