About this work

Chalice veil of natural-coloured silk shot with silver, on which decoration embroidered with gold thread: in the middle a radiant crown within which the letters IHS, along the edges leaf motifs and diagonally in the corners a stylised flower. Bordered with a strip of yellow silk and gold thread. Lining of salmon-coloured silk.
