About this work

Chalice veil of cream-colored silk with embroidery. In the center, a radiant crown of gold thread within which, with gold-colored paillettes, the letters IHS. Along the edges, multicolored silk embroidery: intersecting flower branches with a bouquet of flowers diagonally in the corners (also gold thread). Bordered with bobbin lace: gold lace. Lining of linen.
