About this work

Panel of natural-colored bobbin lace, possibly Flemish guipure. Symmetrical pattern with volutes from which three-, four- and five-petaled flowers spring. Around the motifs a braided bobbin ground with picots. Inside the motifs a honeycomb ground. Finish on all sides with triangles built up from arches.
