About this work

Lace strip of mixed lace - bobbin lace combined with needle lace - Brussels duchesse. Standing lobed oval medallions with fine mesh ground and among other weeping willow leaves (needle lace) are connected by lying c-scrolls, from which a daisy hangs. The remaining ground is an irregular plait ground and is filled with five- and three-lobed leaves and 'daisies' (bobbin lace).
