Cuff of natural-colored bobbin lace, Valenciennes lace. Consisting of two strips sewn together. The upper strip features a repetitive motif of ivy leaves on a square Valenciennes ground, with two dots between successive leaves. The top and bottom edges are finished with a straight border. The lower strip also features a repetitive motif of leaves on a square Valenciennes ground, surmounted by a row of slightly offset rosettes. The upper edge is finished with a straight border. The lower edge features shallow shells formed by linked wheels. Around the cuff, at the level of the lower row of leaves, a section is double-folded and sewn down, causing the pattern to partially disappear.
