About this work

Strip of three parts sewn together with an open pattern of one-sided hanging bellflowers. Coarse mesh ground (square mesh) with bobbins. The symmetrical scallops are composed of a godron border and a 'rail', which is cut through by a wheel. Valenciennes lace. In 1966 a narrow strip was sewn along the top of the strip with a pattern of quadruple bobbins; this narrow strip consists of the parts: BK-BR-J-274-A, -C, -C, -D, -E, -F, -G.
